We register your athlete
Every athlete registers with Boxing Saskatchewan and Boxing Canada. It is required for insurance, and we handle the paperwork with you.
Two Fees, No Surprises
What It Costs
There are two parts to the cost: the club program fee, and the athlete membership every boxer in the province carries. Both are listed here.
Step 1
Club program fees
| Program | Fee |
|---|---|
| Youth Academy (ages 8 to 12) | $55 a month |
| Teen Academy (ages 13 to 17) | $55 a month |
| Girls Academy (ages 10 to 17) | $55 a month |
| Competitive Team (by coach invitation) | $65 a month |
| Foundations course (six weeks, twice a week) | $175 per course |
Academy fees are season registration, billed monthly from September to June. Foundations is the six-week starting course, twice a week with six spots per class, priced per course. Second and additional kids in the same household train at 25 percent off. A $20 family membership, one per household with one vote at the annual meeting, is added once a season.
Step 2
Boxing Saskatchewan / Boxing Canada membership
Every athlete also registers with Boxing Saskatchewan and Boxing Canada. Those fees are set by the provincial and national bodies each season. We list the current amount at registration and handle the paperwork with you.
How to pay
Pay by Interac e-transfer to info@mjboxing.ca, or by cash or cheque at the gym. We provide receipts for every payment. We do not take credit or debit cards.
KidSport + Jumpstart
Cost Help
If the fees are a barrier, that is our problem to solve with you, not a reason to stay home.
That promise is not fine print. Come talk to us before you count boxing out. We will sit down with you at the gym, fill out the KidSport and Jumpstart applications together, and follow up until an answer comes back. Everything stays between your family and the club.
Everything stays between you and us. Your kid just shows up and trains like everyone else.
Covered from Day One
Insurance and Waivers
Registered athletes are covered through their Boxing Saskatchewan and Boxing Canada membership for sanctioned club activity. That coverage is one of the reasons every athlete has to be registered before they train past the trial class.
Participant agreements and waivers are completed at the gym during registration. We walk you through each form, so plan a few extra minutes on registration day.
