Ages 13 to 17

Teen

Real training for teens. Skills first, sparring only by choice.

Who it’s for

Teens aged 13 to 17. Total beginners are the norm; athletes from other sports settle in fast. No experience needed.

How it works

Teens start with Teen Foundations: six weeks, twice a week, six spots per class. It covers the fundamentals properly, stance through combinations, and how to train like a boxer. Then the Teen Academy takes over: ongoing weekly training that builds skill, conditioning, and discipline.

What a class looks like

Warm-up, technique, bag work, pad work, and conditioning rounds. Sparring is never part of Academy classes and never required. Teens who want it earn a coach’s invitation to Intro to Sparring, with full protective gear and close supervision.

What your teen gets out of it

Strength, speed, and the kind of discipline that shows up at school and at home. A place to be, an adult who notices, and something hard worth working at.

What you need

Gym clothes, clean indoor shoes, a water bottle, and hand wraps. The club provides gloves to start. The first class is free.

Questions

What Parents Ask Us

Is boxing safe for kids?

Yes. Amateur boxing is one of the most supervised sports there is: certified coaches, structured classes, protective gear, medical checks, and certified officials at every sanctioned event. Our non-contact streams involve no contact at all.

Do they have to spar?

No. Sparring is always optional and always a coach's call. Athletes who want it earn their way in, with full protective gear and close supervision. Plenty of our boxers train for years and never spar.

What if my kid has never done a sport?

Then they are in good company. Total beginners are the norm here. Every athlete starts with the same fundamentals, and coaches meet each kid where they are.

Can girls join?

Yes. Girls train and compete here. Every class is coed and every athlete gets the same coaching.

What about kids with disabilities?

Talk to us and we will find a way that works. Kids train in the same classes as everyone else, and coaches adjust the work to the athlete.
