Adam Toto

Head Coach

Adam Toto founded Moose Jaw Boxing in 2025 and is its head coach and president. He built the gym at 1-69 Highland Road from the floor up, including the ring, and he coaches every youth program the club runs: Youth, Teen, and Girls Foundations and Academy, Intro to Sparring, and the competitive team.

Adam’s rule for the room is simple. Every kid starts with the fundamentals, nobody spars who does not want to, and the standard is the same for everyone who walks in. In 2026 he took the youth side of the gym non-profit as MJ Boxing Inc., operating as Moose Jaw Boxing, so that cost never decides who gets to train.

He coaches under the club’s Safe Sport policy: open-door sessions, two adults at every practice, and a clear line every athlete can call.

Screening

What Every Coach Must Hold

The club's Safe Sport policy requires every Moose Jaw Boxing coach to hold a Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector screening, complete Respect in Sport for Activity Leaders and Safe Sport training, and train within the NCCP coaching pathway. Each coach's certifications appear on their card as they are placed on file with the Secretary. Coaching happens in open, supervised spaces. See our Safe Sport page.

Volunteer With Us

Volunteer coaches complete the same screening as our staff and learn the NCCP pathway with us. No boxing background required, just a commitment to kids.
