Our Story
Moose Jaw Boxing started in 2025 when head coach Adam Toto opened a gym at 1-69 Highland Road and built the ring himself. Kids came first, and kept coming. In September 2026 the youth side of the gym became a non-profit, MJ Boxing Inc., operating as Moose Jaw Boxing, with one promise written into its purposes: no young person in Moose Jaw is turned away from the sport because their family cannot pay.
The club trains under the Western Canada Student-Boxing Athlete Development System. In plain terms, it is a step-by-step plan that matches training to a kid's age and stage. Our youngest athletes start with footwork, fitness, and fundamentals, with no contact. Kids move up only when they are ready, and every coach follows the same plan at every level. Parents always know what their kid is working on and what comes next.

Values
What We Stand For
-
Respect
We treat teammates, opponents, officials, and the room with respect, every session.
-
Work
Nothing in this gym is given, and everything is earned rep by rep.
-
Courage
We ask kids to try hard things, and we stand in their corner while they do.
-
Community
This club belongs to Moose Jaw, and every kid who walks in belongs here.
Accountability
What Non-Profit Means Here
The club is governed by a volunteer board. Every dollar goes back into programming: coaching, equipment, subsidized spots, and travel to competitions. Nobody profits from this club except the kids in it.
Our legal details, board, and governing documents are public. See our Governance page.
