Who we answer to

Membership structure

Moose Jaw Boxing is a membership corporation. Members are the adults behind the club: parents and guardians of registered athletes, adult athletes, coaches, and community supporters admitted under the bylaws.

Under Bylaw No. 1 there are two classes of members. Voting Members are the parents and guardians of athletes under 18 (one membership per athlete family, carrying one vote), registered athletes who are 18 or older, and the coaches, officials, and volunteers the board admits. Honorary Members are recognized for service and do not vote. Members elect the directors for one-year terms and receive the financial statements at the annual general meeting, held within six months after fiscal year end, with the first AGM held within 18 months of incorporation.
