Moose Jaw Boxing is now an incorporated non-profit

On September 2, 2026, the youth club was incorporated as MJ Boxing Inc., a membership non-profit corporation under Saskatchewan’s The Non-profit Corporations Act, 2022 (entity number 102243021). The club keeps operating as Moose Jaw Boxing, the name families already know.

What changes. A volunteer board of directors now governs the club, with bylaws, a code of conduct, and a Safe Sport policy presented for adoption at the first board meeting. Every dollar that comes in belongs to the corporation and goes back into youth programming. Non-profit status also opens the door to the community grants and sponsorships that keep fees low and keep cost help built in for any family that needs it.

What does not change. The gym at 1-69 Highland Road, the coaches, the classes, and the standard. Youth Foundations and Academy classes run on the same schedule, and the first class is still free.
